  7. `ASCIItoKW3' is non-copyrighted public domain  software. 
  8. Spread it, modify it, (it's written in Blitz Basic 2 and the 
  9. code is PD too), and generally feel free to do whatever you 
  10. want with it.

  12. This program takes an ascii text file and converts it to 
  13. Kindwords3 format. Kindwords3 can load ascii files - but not 
  14. very well. It links all lines of text in one large chunk, 
  15. ignoring paragraphs and joining some words together. 
  16. ASCIItoKW3 hopefully improves on this. However, YOU USE THIS 
  17. PROGRAM AT YOUR OWN RISK! It's a hack - and may not produce a 
  18. perfectly correct file. I take no responsibility for anything 
  19. bad that that may happen to anyone who uses this program.

  21. With the menu option `Join Lines' unselected, no attempt will 
  22. be made to join lines into paragraphs. With `ASCII Output' 
  23. selected, files are saved in ascii format and not KW3 format. 
  24. Note that whatever state Join Lines is in, it only works on 
  25. files as they are being loaded.

  28. creation is needed.
